Electronic Terminations signs distribution agreement with Astute Group

Selected products manufactured by Electronic Terminations (ETL) will now be marketed and sold globally by Astute Group, after the two businesses signed a distribution agreement.

Astute Group is one of the world’s most knowledgeable experts in global authorised electronic component procurement, distribution, and supply chain management with dozens of service hubs serving Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.

ETL’s head of sales and marketing, Barrie Hayter, explained that the contract comes after Astute purchased £200,000 worth of products from ETL over the past 12 months. He added: “We are very proud to be working with a world-class distributor and innovator like Astute. Our product and capability offering are sure to complement their already broad franchise networks.”

Scott Morley, interconnects business development manager, Astute Group, said, “We’re delighted to add Electronic Terminations to Astute’s line-up of elite manufacturers and increase their exposure within the defence industry. ETL manufactures and stocks a wide range of Mil-spec connectors, cable assemblies, harnesses, and looms with National Stock Numbers (NSN), so they are a great fit to our business.”

Established in 1945, Electronic Terminations specialises in products including cable harnesses, Electro-Mechanical assemblies, control & junction boxes, racks & cabinets for defence, infrastructure and rail customers.  The company also extends the lifespan and maximises the value of existing equipment through testing and refurbishing, while they can also retro-engineer obsolete items.
