Mark Shanley, Astute’s Marketing and Sales Director, sits on the UK Ministry of Defence’s Counterfeit Avoidance Working Group (CAWG) and helps to set the benchmarks for industry practices. He is a renowned expert in his field.


Astute is part of the Electronic Components Supply Network (ECSN) and actively participates in the groups leadership and networking opportunities for the advancement of the entire industry.


Astute sits on the G-19 Counterfeit Electronic Parts Committee and contributes to the guidelines such as ARP6328 for implementing processes used for risk identification, mitigation, detection, avoidance, disposition, and reporting of counterfeit electrical, electronic, and electromechanical (EEE) parts.
