Astute scoops BAE Systems’ electronics Supplier of Year award

Astute Electronics today announced it received a BAE Systems Partner 2 Win Supplier of the Year Award for Electronic Systems based on exceptional performance and contributions to supply chain success in 2019 for BAE Systems’ Electronic Systems sector.

Astute Electronics was selected from a pool of more than 2,200 suppliers that worked with the sector in 2019.

“We are incredibly proud to be one of 12 companies to receive this award out of 2,200 and be recognised for delivering supplier excellence to BAE Systems,” said Mark Shanley, Sales & Marketing Director, Astute Electronics. “The team that supports BAE across the globe have been going above & beyond to raise the bar and this award is testament to their collective hard work.”
BAE Systems’ Partner 2 Win program is designed to achieve operational excellence and eliminate defects in its supply chain by raising the bar of performance expectations to meet the demand of current and future customers. As part of the program, BAE Systems meets regularly with its suppliers at their locations to transfer best practices to ensure that the components and materials that compose BAE Systems products meet the highest quality standards.
