Taiwanese PCB manufacturing revenue may decline by 3% from 2019 due to impact of coronavirus pandemic on demand for electronics, says DigiTimes.
Picking up on comments made during a webinar by the Taiwan Printed Circuit Association (TPCA), DigiTimes reports that “the rapid pandemic spread in the US and Europe has impacted both PCB supply and demand” and “many PCB makers also agree that if end-market recessions emerge in the regions, their revenues may suffer”.
“TPCA said that Taiwan’s PCB production may see a maximum growth of 2% in value in 2020 only if the pandemic can be well controlled in the first half of the year and significant demand recovery appears in the third quarter, “ reports DigiTimes.
