Astute Electronics and HUBER+SUHNER sign franchise agreement

[12/05/2022 Stevenage, UK] Astute Electronics have announced a new franchised-distribution agreement with the Swiss optical and connectivity systems manufacturer, HUBER+SUHNER

Ian White, Interconnect BDM at Astute Electronics, said, “We are delighted to formalise the relationship between our two companies”

“We’re excited about extending our application-driven expertise with HUBER+SUHNER optical components and interconnect systems. Their products really stand out due to their exceptional quality, reliability and durability – even under harsh environmental conditions – and fit the application needs of our Hi-Rel customers.”

With antennas, cable & cable assemblies, connectors and systems – developed from the three core technologies of radio frequency, fiber optics and low frequency – Huber & Suhner serves customers in the Aerospace and defense, Space, communication, transportation and industrial sectors.

For space-saving, high density applications, HUBER+SUHNER offer new VSFF (Very Small Form Factor) connectors as well as ultra-compact splitters which they claim can save up to 30% of rack space for additional equipment and applications.

As a franchised HUBER+SUHNER distributor, Astute Electronics will have access to extensive stocks of connectors including RF Micro Miniature connectors, RF Subminiature and RF Miniature connectors, and can supply coaxial and microwave cable assemblies on competitive lead times.

Astute Electronics is a value-added design-in partner for HUBER+SUHNER with direct access to the manufacturer and their product support.
