Astute adds Geyer Electronic – Quartz Technology Components to authorised portfolio

[25/10/2021 Stevenage, UK] Astute Electronics is now an authorised ‘Value Added’ distributor and design-in partner for Geyer Electronic’s range of ultra-miniature crystals, oscillators, SAW filters and resonators.

Stewart Burns, Passive & Discrete BDM at Astute Electronics, commented about the partnership,

We’re delighted to represent Geyer Electronic. They design some of the finest and smallest frequency control components where space and quality are prime considerations.

Importantly for all clients, Geyer is heavily invested in ensuring long-term supply for the life-time of the projects. Via Astute, we can provide direct design-in support from their highly knowledgeable factories in Japan, Korea and Taiwan for clients who need to go from product development to major production. A full design and test centre at their Munich headquarters makes Geyer more than just a manufacturer.“

Whether you are looking for support with your initial design, evaluation of a new or existing PCB, or simply a crystal manufacturer to provide your tiny SMD crystal or traditional metal-can device, then give Astute a call to see how we can help.”

Geyer Electronic’s range includes:

  • Miniature oscillators suited for use in the technology of LED activation and for the new RFID-TAG technology, that means positioning and identification in medical technologies.
  • Miniature quartz crystals with extended operating temperatures + 150°C at a size of 3,2 x 2,5 x 0,8 mm and a frequency range of 8,0 to 66,0
  • Super-miniature oscillators with small dimensions of 2,0 mm x 1,6 mm, especially shock and vibration resistant.

Astute Electronics offers global bespoke solutions across all market segments and across all sectors of the electronics industry and is a value-added partner for Geyer Electronic.
