At the request of the UK MoD, Astute Electronics Limited has been appointed as a supplier to the Crown Commercial Service’s SPARK Dynamic Purchasing System Framework RM6094 for intelligent asset location and management technology, SALUS.
As standard, this low-power technology can provide accuracy to less than 2 metres, providing both indoor (3D) and outdoor location on the same network. The bi-directional communication capability permits environmental monitoring for asset lifecycle management and can display information to users. Multiple radio options allow for site, multiple-site, and between-site location with continuous asset monitoring even when the tag is offline. Fully secure to military requirements, the technology is also HERO compliant.
